If you're looking for a serious sipping rye whiskey, this is the one to get. Even in its 2-year infancy, this is a very respectable (and delicious) expression. The usual cereal, cinnamon, and peppery spice you'd expect, but with a smooth high-rye bourbon mash finish. In other words, this one has the spice and the smooth, without all that sweet corn getting in the way. One word review: balance.
