On the nose, Woodford shines through a very generic alcohol shine with a dark cherry undertone with light notes of vanilla, baking spices, orange zest, and an oak bitter ding. Peaking through occasionally is a ripe banana note, a toasty marshmallow note, and a mild bubblegum sweetness. The taste balances out the flavors so that nothing spikes out too hard other than the bourbon cherry note with a light spice. For me, the bourbon is not worth the value (I would just grab one of the cheaper Old Forester offerings for a similar profile) but I find myself going back to the 375 ml to make myself and my friends happy when sharing a glass before some beers.
