The nose greets you with a burst of spice followed an earthy rye that has a slight floral element. Sweet vanilla follows balancing hints of ripe fruit, molasses and caramel.
The palate is pleasantly rich and chewy and reaches the corners of the mouth with rye spiciness carrying over the earthy yet floral notes. Creamy follows, riding the wave of spice into a sadly only medium finish that keeps the mouth tingling with spice. There is a rye aftertaste with the creamier notes having faded early on.
