This is a decent dram, but It's just not my cup of tea. It's definitely well made and I could see how people love it, but it is really too dry and oaky for me. The fruit shows up more with water. Not disappointed that I bought it, but I don't anticipate buying it again. It has gotten better as the bottle opened up.
Nose: Vanilla, Lemon, Wood, Mustiness, Apricot
Palate: Lemon, cinnamon, vanilla, malt, honey
Finish: Citrus, slight smoke, musty funk, dustiness
Mouthfeel: Slightly creamy, slightly astringent, and some tannin from the oak. It reminds me of drinking a very dry white wine.
