To me, it tastes like an extremely filtered young rye whiskey- which is what it is in its essence. And, I believe, the makers don’t hide that. I agree with others who liken this to a vodka but with hints of sweet scotch whiskey. I believe it shines best as a base for mixed drinks. To me, it is uncomplicated and I enjoy this filtered whisky very much in a light tasting highball.
