Very floral nose and very smooth on the taste for it's strength. Drop of water really opens it up, marzipan, cherry, almond. Reminded me a little of Green Spot after the water but with more bite as you'd expect which is strange but in a good way. I think it's that lingering marzipan/almond that blooms after the water. The finish is really long and lingers with hints of tobacco and leather. Price was right for a classic bourbon and I've definitely paid more for less quality.
Update: Started to get an earthy/vegetal note that was a little off-putting. A few drops of water still help. It's become a strange bottle because I seem to get a different experience each time.
