Noble Oak Double Oak Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 29, 2022 (edited January 21, 2023)Balanced Bourbon with the Sherry influence represented well with dark fruits and a nuttiness not usually found in Bourbon. I read the proprietary process mentioned in the description allows them to extract maximum flavor from the Sherry staves in a minimal amount of time and whether that's true or not, it's working. Great value and dram. Cheers!29.0 USD per Bottle -
I was happily surprised by this bottle. It's not groundbreaking but the sherry finishing along with the peat adds a nice layer of sweetness and flavor to the smoke. I know the ABV is a little on the lower end but I think it would be a great entry point for someone looking to start getting into smokier drams and the price point is a definite plus. Cheers!35.0 USD per Bottle

This was a Barrel Pick at my local liquor store and it blew my mind. It's a very distinct Bourbon, presenting unexpected flavors and veering away from but expanding what I think Bourbon can be. If you want the common and to me, somewhat boring tasting notes of a Bourbon then this is not the dram for you. If you like something that colors outside the box and expands the Bourbon flavor palette then this bottle should absolutely be on your shelf. At the very least, you'll have a new delicious whiskey even if it's not a traditional Bourbon.42.0 USD per Bottle
