A-medium amber
S- mild, earthy, tame smoke, mild dark fruit. Sweet leaf tobacco. Rubbing alchohol.
T- mild spice for a rye. Followed by lots of earth and sweet grain. Fruity finish. Way more delicate and complex than I thought it'd be. Stands up well on the rocks. Superb mixer for cocktails. A good benchmark rye for under $30.
M- pretty meaty base. Full bodied.
O- worth its weight. Its a tad bit young to take on more of the late flavors of oak. The vanilla/butterscotch notes. It does have a special sweetness combined with a certain earthiness. Nothing off-putting. Well balanced for what it is. Not as spicy as many rye's. I enjoy.
