Appearance- dark amber Nose- red hot candies, oak, banana. Palate- sweet woody. Spicy cinnamon candy coated fruit cocktail. Drying, long finish of sugary tobacco. Some grape/banana/maple flashes in the mid. Fairly complex, love everything about the finish Overall- Fun begining substantial middle and an enjoyable long finish. Redhots, fruit pie, with a puff of a sweet cigar at the end.

Appearance- medium amber legs for days should be a bit oily. Nose- light caramel, root beer/cherry cola, vanilla, some sweet tobacco. A bubblegum minty herbalness. A lot going on here. Palate- Sweet juicyfruit cherry vanilla up front. followed by spicy(rye) cola. Some nice wood notes in the mid. Ending with a banana nut bread/ sugared pecan finish. Overall- I could smell this all day. Beautiful. The flavors are delicate, and pleasing. There may be a few flavors clashing at times but this is a bit of a ride. Definitely can pick out each mashbill at different times. Finish is medium. A tad strange.50.0 USD per Bottle

N- leather, sharpie marker, black cherry. P- harsh alchohol, twizzlers cherry, mild oak. Finish is dry rotten apple, Overall- harsh, has some sweetness in the mix but the flavors are all on fire from a super hot/dry start/mid, finishes with sour fruits. Nose- faint carmel corn, sweet oak, mild citrus Palate- loads of caramel & vanilla. Sweet corn, sweet oak. Overall- quintessential bourbon. A tad light on the proof but has the body to make enjoyable. Light finish of sweet oak, vanilla. A very nice gentle balanced bourbon. Will buy again!25.0 USD per Bottle

Nose- minerally, earthy, wet tobacco, banana/grape. Palate- lots of young wood up front, spicy rye character in the mid, mild caramel, some grassy mint, banana runts. Finishes dry and long with barrel char and honey apricot. Overall- lots going on. Not a full-bodied classic bourbon. High rye, high char, mid sweetness. Lower spice. Would go well with a mild cigar.40.0 USD per Bottle

Blanton's Original Single Barrel
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 23, 2024 (edited February 11, 2025)Appearance- golden amber, thin Nose- sweet warm vanilla, spicy oak, there's something hard to describe, like a cinnamon glazed doughnut. Faint ripe banana. Tabacco/Leather thing going on. Faint char smoke. Palate- vanilla orange upfront, spicy long mid, this is where the leather/tobacco/oak shines. As the spice subsidies, an array of buttery fruits, apple, banana, orange, along with a smoky butterscotch. Finish is medium to long. At last, a sticky dry leather tone at the very end. Mouthfeel- seems thin for half a second, but then coats the mouth for a long middle. The finish is juicy to begin then drys out to that leather at the very end. Overall- very pleased I got my hands on a bottle. I did notice it was better appreciated after my Palate had a little warm up. I would recommend drinking another Bourbon beforehand to wake things up. Lives up to its reputation!75.0 USD per Bottle -
Creek Water 100 Proof American Whiskey
Other Whiskey — North Carolina, USA
Reviewed November 14, 2024Smells like cinnamon & sugar Tastes of vanilla frosting, with cinnamon raisin bread. Super quick finish Overall, this is a quick treat. Nothing complex, just a nice sweet whiskey to enjoy. Definitely different, but drinks under proof, abd and is slightly enjoyable.25.0 AUD per Bottle -
Nose- dark fruit, dark caramel Palate- cherry pie, lollipop sugar. Mouthfeel- sticky, heavy. Overall- some good rye sweetness upfront. Cut short by sticky sugar, just destroying the flavor and leaving a funky wetness with no rye spice. Finish of cheap licorice. Not impressed. 2 seconds of not bad, followed by what the.... just happened?

Beauty of a bottle. Smells good. Nothing crazy on the nose sweet baking spice with almost a sweet bbq sauce note. Mild oak. Tastes of faint apple taffy, nice vanilla, caramel baked monkey bread flavor in the mid with some nice heat, some citrus in there as well. Seems to get sweeter with the heat then the dry oak finishes it out. Ends sweet and dry. Well balanced, well worth the price. This is definitely what you think about when your talking about a classic bourbon.

Nose- alchohol and a strange earthyness. Not much. Palate- starts thick, sweet cherry wood, a tinge of vanilla frosting, the artificial type. Mid and finish start to dry out and feel like a rye. Spicy dry cinnamon disc. The start kinda lingers and stays sticky on the end. The sweet and sticky and the spicy dryness seem to fight each other and then settle into one another. I think this is a not so bad rendering of a classic. The sweetness is there of the OG but the older brandy finished whiskey adds some interesting dynamics.35.0 USD per Bottle
