Nose: warm honey, grain, hint of fresh cut grass, subtle spice notes, orange citrus
Palate: mouth feel is initially thin on the sip but thickens if you hold in over your tongue. Surprisingly smooth. Tasting reveals vanilla, subtle honey. There’s a touch of peat and smoked oak. The spices on the nose transfer with only a hint of ethanol burn.
Finish: honey, crisp apples, subtle sweet wood but not overly sherried, oak comes through as well.
