This smells a lot like Corralejo Reposado used to, but lighter, without the wine funk, and with more spice, citrus, and some minerality. Nice vanilla, caramel, and pepper that balance with cooked agave and minerality in the palate with a medium-light body. Semi sweet finish with white pepper, milk chocolate, and grapefruit lingering. You can tell this is aged in French oak rather than bourbon barrels.
