Neat of course. I wanted to be a scotch guy (for under $60) but that guy doesn't exist. Good news, under $100 scotch guy does. Nose smoke hits you first but so much more, like a meaty iodine campfire. Tastes like your cooking bacon over a leather fire.... but in a good way. Smoke, sweet meats, then smoke again. My dad would say "This whiskey puts hair on your chest!"
