Glenmorangie A Tale of Cake
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland

Nose: Surprising amount of the tokaji finish, which likely adds to the sweet, icing note. Diving deeper, baking spice appears, maybe cinnamon (?). The nose is very well balanced out by an appealing note of white chocolate.
Palate: Even more wine influence that highlights lots of fermented fruit which is paired with a very prototypical glenmorangie mouthfeel that finishes off a little thin.
Finish: Again, very Glenmo. The white chocolate shows again. Finishes Sweet, too much for me, but I can understand the draw for some people.
I've never really been a glenmo fan and this dram unfortunately isn't much different. The nose was really interesting, unfortunately the liquid fell a little short for me.
