Grainy Rye throughout, exactly what you expect. Strong, youthful, bold flavors. Vanilla and nectar yielding to black pepper and grainy spice. Nice finish, not overly long. Dark color portrays the nice oaky aging, you can taste that it's powerful and a bit unrefined but very enjoyable.
