It’s more subtle than I remember, but definitely has a medley of different floral and herbal notes, including the rose and cucumber, that made me first love this in college. Hendrick’s was the gin that got me excited about trying more herbal and floral forward gins instead of the clean, modern, low-juniper gins like New Amsterdam. It may not be alone at the top of the shelf anymore, but it is still delicious.
