Appearance: Chestnut like gold and amber. Nose: Brine, smoke, lapsang souchong. Some sweetness pokes through Palette: Strong rich oily malt and peat with sweetness after. Finish: Long finish of lingering smoke and peat Value: Very tasty and amazing at a decent price for age. Wish it were a bit lighter on the wallet but it is what it is. Overall: Fantastic single malt Islay that I keep coming back to. Such great and distinct flavor.
