Never was a fan of Jack, though it was not for a lack of trying. I grew up and went to college in Tennessee and it seemed ubiquitous at college parties. Whenever I traveled abroad and said I was from Tennessee, Jack Daniels is what people associate with the state. To me, it’s a combination of it being too thin and the banana/candy corn getting in the way of the vanilla/caramel. I much prefer an equally priced sweet bourbon like Evan Williams to Jack. Guess I should have been born a few hours north in Kentucky. Cheers!
