After trying out 5ml sample my impression was not all that great however I was intrigued to give it another shot and so I have bought myself a whole bottle. And I am glad I did this since this one is likely going to be regular in my bar. On the nose I can sense leather and sweetness and behind all that hint of vanilla and a subtle smoke. Mouthfeel is sweet, rich and slightly oily. Finish is a little bit spicy with a smoke taking over together with a peaty and grassy tones. As the smoke fades away I am left with a taste of green apple or perhaps a pineapple. All in all great experience, I think this is really approachable whisky for just about anyone. It stands out by being well rounded and enjoyable without much effort. It goes down easily and probably would be described by many as a "smooth" whisky.
