Color is a light golden honey. The initially nose of dusty nuttiness turns to a sweet peanut brittle, caramel and toffee, a perfume note also develops after a few drinks. Front of the palate is slightly sweet but a little flat. Fresh grass or hay suggests this is a young whiskey but it does have a nice oak and char note giving it a very earthy type palate, towards the back end an ethanol or alcohol note is there in the form of bitterness and tang. Cool label, cool story and a good bourbon for $20.
