Brandy de Jerez aged around 10 years in Oloroso casks.
Not as sweet nor as refined as the “Finest Selection”.
Oak, vanilla, figs, caramel and light spices on the nose. A little rough on the palate with raisins, wood notes, barrel spices, vanilla, caramel and hints of milk chocolate. Medium finish with nutty, bitter-sweet notes.
A couple drops of water smoothed the rough edges.

@Bourbon_Obsessed_Lexington Ordered this one by mistake, thought I was getting more of the “Finest Selection”. Oh well, not terribly disappointed with the purchase. I love a good brandy/cognac and there seems to be no substitute for aging.
Sounds like a step up from their slightly rough but tasty entry level offering (that your review inspired me to try!)
