Nose: really really good nose. Fruity and caramel. Similar to new riff but a bit more rich.
Palate: very good. Fruity but not a typical fruit taste. More dark berries. A good clean mouthfeel, super oily. Very late, if any, burn.
Finish: fruity and very long. This is well done
Overall: yes it’s $100 and I have no clue what the age on it is but we know it’s at least 4 years old. Honestly I think this is amazing. I want to see a barrel proof version and I definitely need a couple backups of this.

@ContemplativeFox for sure! Would love to know your thoughts if you do get it
@Bourbon_Obsessed_Lexington I could see similar to Barton but it definitely is much more rich
Somehow I’ve never heard of this brand. I’m assuming upstart distillery rather than NDP? Although thanks to Bardstown Bourbon Co I suspect more young contract distilled products are on their way. Scratch both - looks like it’s Sazerac owned and distilled at Barton but sounds like it compete with their 1792 products, albeit pricy. Maybe this is the new Rock Hill Farm of Barton?
Interesting. They always try to push this brand at TW and I'd figured it was probably severely overpriced, but this review plus a couple do awards I've seen suggest that at least the BiB is worth trying, maybe even at $100 :)
