Gigiomix

Bladnoch Adela 15 Year

Single Malt — Lowlands, Scotland

Reviewed May 26, 2021 (edited September 13, 2021)
4.5
4.5 out of 5 stars
Nose: sherry bomb, raisins, prunes, but also honey, praline nuts and caramel. Palate: always a lot of sherry, with caramelized sugar, milk chocolate, honey, light wood flavor impregnated (always) with sherry: particular but not unpleasant. I also feel a very pleasant rum taste, almost as if part of the barrels used have been used for this in the past. It is very sweet and delicate, warm and enveloping, not a note out of place other than a slight excess of caramel. It should be allowed to breathe a little before being appreciated at its best. Final: medium-long with sherry, very fine milk chocolate and raisins. A very good and high quality product, you can perceive the attention paid to the preparation and maturation. Voto 4,50
