The nose has simple but welcoming notes of orange, strawberry yogurt, and honey.
The mouthfeel is mildly oily, and the palate is sweet, with notes like mint, caramel apple, hard cider, and something bread-like, most likely the yeast.
The finish isa medium length with a taste that coats the mouth with a crisp ale like flavor.
This classic scotch is definitely simple but dang, is it easy to like. I can’t believe I haven’t tried it sooner.
