Batches can vary quite drastically. I've had a batch that was better than a 4.0 rating and a batch that was slightly below. My preferred batch had a fruitiness to it, baking spices, clove. The batch I wasn't a fan of was a cinnamon bomb and covered up the subtleties that make high west double rye a complex and pleasurable drink.
