I was already into 6 other whiskeys and 1 cognac when I tried this. Still this held up to the rest of them. The higher proof helped the flavor profile with that strong bite. The caramel butterscotch sweetness is dominating. Almost plum like fruitiness too probably from the port cask finish. This was lovely. P.S. Had a sample bottle so not sure what’s the price is.
