Meh. Fancy bottle but boring and not so pleasant flavor profile.

One of my go to blends that is very balanced and rounded. Not too sweet, not too peaty, not too fruity or spicy, it is a very easy and enjoyable sipping whisky.

I’m used to cask strength scotches but i found this expression a bit harsh. Plus it doesnt have the complexity of A'Bunadh. Still a good dram. But my expectations were high. Note: Bottle I got was batch 006 and 124 proof

Loved the balance of the fruity and smoky notes. Slightly medicinal and citrusy. A delightful dram.

Honetsly not my favorite peated scotch, burnt tire notes are on the forefront.

For a 7 year old peated scotch it tasted really good. Well rounded. You can’t even tell that its high proof. Way peaty than your regular Bunnahabhains. Typical campfire, briny and medicinal Islay notes are at the forefront. Honey and some dry fruit notes at the back end. Very enjoyable and worth the price.

Slightly disappointed becasue it felt too “smooth” with no bite to my liking.
