Lemongrass, pepper, leather nose, smooth citrus, caramel, sweet corn, slight alcohol burn. Marshmallow. Dry finish

Nose of fruit and vanilla
Palette is not too sweet, but the corn is there. Raisin toast with cinnamon up front that quickly fades to a subdued rye flavor, and a body similar to the Willett 4 year rye. Dill pickle and honey on the back end. Dry oak in a long finish.
They use a different type of oak that produces a unique oak lactone flavor unique to Willett, and I’m happy for it.
