I don't know if I got a bad bottle but this is awful. Tastes like rotten musty oak.

I went back to my bottle after some time and I must say I find it damn near undrinkable. I tried it the other night and couldn’t get through 2 ounces. Definitely not worth what I paid IMO

Mine has been open for several weeks, more than half way gone. It's just not a good whiskey local store has it for $92 a bottle. I payed a marked up price for Old Fitzgerald 8 bib at $127 now that's fantastic.

Cascade Hollow makes some of my favorite whisky, but the bottle I have open is nigh undrinkable. I’m 1/2 way through hoping it gets better. I’ve heard the higher proofed barrels are better. I hope so.

Generally agree. Bitter, tannic and astringent finish. Gets better as the bottle opens but definitely NOT worth the price. It seems like this is some old stock that they found it just decided to bottle and put it out there… The 11-year-old BIBis better

mine definitely got better with a little time and 1/3 of the bottle down.
