I got a 375 ml bottle.
Medium amber in color. This bourbon has the distinct first nose of a rock house. Old wood and aging bourbon smell that gives way to faint hints of dried fruit, dark chocolate and some mild brininess.
It’s sweet and smooth on the palate. I get butterscotch, a very faint smoky note followed by a bit of spice-possibly rye. Finishes with a distinct briny note that tends to leave a lingering dryness.
Finish is short.
I enjoyed this pour and look forward to working on the rest of the bottle.
