Tastes

Loads of creamy cherry vanilla on the nose gives way to milk chocolate and caramel. Silky and sweet on the palate. Caramel, floral cherry notes, hints of sweet oak with some nice cinnamon on the finish. Medium finish with a gentle Ky hug.

I got a 375 ml bottle. Medium amber in color. This bourbon has the distinct first nose of a rock house. Old wood and aging bourbon smell that gives way to faint hints of dried fruit, dark chocolate and some mild brininess. It’s sweet and smooth on the palate. I get butterscotch, a very faint smoky note followed by a bit of spice-possibly rye. Finishes with a distinct briny note that tends to leave a lingering dryness. Finish is short. I enjoyed this pour and look forward to working on the rest of the bottle.

Banana pudding on the nose, a bit of vanilla, a bit of oak. Vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon but not super burney. Nice Ky finish and medium finish.
