Sweet, spicy, bold and viscous with oak, vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, baking spices, flambéed marshmallow, hints of orange, cherry and tobacco and lingering heat. This bourbon is delicious.

@Ctrexman I would like to try them, but I can’t quite bring myself to open my wallet that wide.
@jdriip If you like the sweet wheater profile I emplore you to try Garrison Cowboy or Balmo. Yes they are very pricey but are completely on another level. May change your perception of bourbon
@ContemplativeFox @Bourbon_Obsessed_Lexington @ctbeck11 I like the idea of wheated bourbon, a little sweeter profile fits my sweet tooth. Most have been disappointing, but not this one.
Sounds really promising @Bourbon_Obsessed_Lexington . I'm no fan of wheaters either.
@ContemplativeFox I’m with @ctbeck11 as far as my prejudice against wheated bourbon but I had the opportunity to try this as part of a blind tasting and was pleasantly surprised - honestly didn’t recognize that it was wheated
@ctbeck11 Yeah I recalled that this was substantially younger than ECBP. It does retail for cheaper, but I guess the question is whether it's enough cheaper. WTRB and JDBP are both cheaper and surely younger but in the same ballpark as ECBP, so I'm prepared (though not expecting) to be pleasantly surprised by this.
@ContemplativeFox The BP bottlings are significantly better than the standard Larceny. However, I don’t think they stand up against ECBP. But that could just be my wheater prejudice talking. I find them to be generally thin and lacking depth. Though it’s worth noting that Larceny BP is bottled at 6-8 years old, while ECBP is 12, so it’s not quite a fair comparison.
@Bourbon_Obsessed_Lexington I've never particularly liked Larceny and I recall the original BP release underwhelming folks. Maybe it's time I pick up a bottle to try it out :)
I agree this is fantastic and gives bottles like Weller FP and 1792 FP a run for the money but doesn’t suffer from quite the same hype
