This may be my favorite straight Rye at this price point. Complex but approachable. Just enough heat to know it means business but still smooth. I like this neat. On the nose I get apricot, honey, rye, and bread dough. On the palate I appreciate honey and pepper, followed by cinnamon, rye, leather, oak, with some heat. The finish is spicy at first and then slowly fades away.
