Rich and Fruity This rum tastes like the lemon from a cheap vodka up front, but mostly tastes of a barrel afterwards. Like the spicy barrel. At the end it finishes with a cognac type fruit taste and alcohol bite. None of the traditional rum tastes are in this, I can hardly taste the molasses. The taste isn't foul/off, but there is nothing special about this rum to me.
