I find the Uigeadail to be a very complex Scotch. On the nose I get a nutty, smoky, vanilla aroma. On the palate, oh boy... It's a flavor explosion of pepper, prunes, coffee, honey, and tobacco. It has a very chewy mouthfeel with the longest finish of any Scotch I've tried yet. The peat is noticeable in the finish. Though the Laphroaig 10 yr. would still be my favorite every-day whisky, this would be a fantastic Scotch for sipping in front of a fire in the winter. It would also make a great Scotch to gift to someone.
