Old Crow Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — USA

Orange floral, corn, and a whiff of sourness on the nose. Light color and legs in the glass. Corn syrup and citrus sweetness, unsalted peanuts, and a flash of ethanol. Grassy oak spiciness peaks and then goes dry and a little sour in an average finish. This is serviceable bourbon, no serious off notes, but not a lot of high notes either. Great labeling and distillery history, and at $9 every day... worth having when you just want a average mixer that won't get in the way of the mix.

Thanks! I'm always looking at the bottom shelf and being pleasantly surprised, especially with the value. cheers, @Stan-Harris
I like your tasting notes. Way better than average. Both Old Crow and Old Grandad are sentimental favorites for me, on account of as a lad, I used to see their ads in the Saturday Evening Post in the the 1950s
Miles ahead of Black velvet and Seagrams.....actually drinkable though very mundane
