Lots of Sherry influence on this. Dark, sticky sweet fruit notes. Picked up a lot of extra wood making it quite dry. Nice smoky peat flavour that lingers on the finish slightly. I like this but I prefer the 12 or 18. Feels a little dark and heavy in places. The time spent in the Sherry barrels took away more than it gave for me. The nose hints at lovely, light, fruity Sherry but the taste doesn't deliver what I imagined.
