The nose is a perfectly bold marriage between barrel and ethanol, with just the tiniest touch of cherry on the backend. On the palate, bold barrel smoke and the 57.5 alcohol punch are balanced by the unmistakable note of vanilla buttercream. All three work in tandem to keep the whiskey both interesting and balanced. On the finish the buttercream subsides and leaves the barrel spice and a pleasant tingle of heat that is bold, long-lasting and memorable. Superb for the price and an absolute must for any overproof bourbon fan.
