Softer nose with hints of rum barrel sweetness definitely coming through. Likably sharp first hitting the tongue, but that soon gives way to some heat, and subtle bannana and apple tones. I paid ~$30 for it on sale at my packy; I would buy it again on sale, not so sure at the regular ~$45. Overall, a perfectly good whiskey that's a more adventurous than something from the Jameson line; good for sipping or adding to a hot beverage.
