The nose has punchy brine and smoke paired with a sweet milk chocolate. On the palate its sweeter than expected, with juicy bursting pear and apple grilled on an outdoor BBQ. The milk chocolate is a lovely background player throughout. The finish brings black pepper spice, cured meat and more of the milk chocolate, perhaps a pepperoni rolled in melted milk chocolate? The liquid shows its age a bit, but still manages to be a solid daily drinker for the peated fan.
