I am conflicted. When I first had this I was wildly disappointed, but this is growing on me like ivy on a cathedral. At first it was just a very sweet thin whiskey. Now it’s still sweet, but spicy. Still sweet, but grassy like the grasses of the southwest. Maybe it’s because I love the west and live in the Texas hill country, but I’m loving this whiskey.
Overall Wyoming small batch tastes like vanilla, cracked black pepper, the liquid from a maraschino cherry jar, licorice, and grass.
