This is a fantastic whisky from the balconies line up, my favorite of theirs.
The nose is sweet with a slight oak hint followed by brown sugar.
The pallet is smooth and creamy. A subtle spice dancing with a touch of sweetness then turning the page to a longer remnant of oak and of char.
The finish is a mild lingering spice of charred oak.
A lovely bottle in the $50’s. Definitely one of my absolute favorites from Texas.
