Very fruity and floral nose. It is quite pleasant to smell. This would make an appealing perfume or candle. The initial taste is more like wine than whiskey. The big surprise is when you begin to taste the barrel at the end, the woody, nutty flavor doesn't mix well with the sweet and floral. Not bad by a long shot, but not something I am willing to spend another $70 on again, either.
