Rare to see a higher than 40 abv single malt at this price, especially when it is stated to be aged in bourbon casks. Had to try.
Nose is very pleasant with fruity and slightly buttery hints, similar to the Glenlivet profile.
The problem lies with its pallate. First second of it do have that high quality glen notes, but was quickly overwhelmed by peculiar bitter swirls and whole lot of other unpleasant impurities. Finish was very short too.
