I unfairly always associated Jager with Red Bull and Jager Bombs and bro culture, so I never included it in my bar. However, it makes for a decent amaro and adds great cola and sweet licorice flavors to cocktails (not nearly as bitter as herbal liqueurs with strong anise flavors). My favorite use for it right now is with gin and sweet vermouth. Glad I revisited this ‘90’s super fad.
