Blair Athol the Sovereign
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland

Neck pour.
Initial smell is Red Vines, Werther's Original Chewy Caramels and Honey-nut Cheerios, oh my, this is promising. Palate is supple and sweet, but not cloying, with carmel, raspberry and honey notes. Heat and spice build with each sip. Finish is long, semisweet and a little spicy.
This is the third Sovereign bottle from K&L I have tried. They have all left a good impression.
