First thing I always find with this one is the cut-rate, uncomplicated ethanol when I nose it. Kind of like nail polish remover. Let it open up in the glass a bit and it improves to the trademark Barton-ness. Sweet cinnamon spice is my descriptor. Finishes the same way, spice and caramel/cinnamon/vanilla and coats the mouth nicely for the price point. Can sip it, throw in a cube and/or don't feel guilty using as a mixer. $30 or under? Yes, it's worthy. If you are acclimated to high proof and like the Barton profile, find yourself a 1792 full proof and enjoy. It's a hot, cinnamon raisin bomb and one of my current favorites.
