A beautiful beast, brings various different elements depending on how much water is added, I like a little and definitely not ice.
Nose; light tobacco smoke hits you followed by a dark salted caramel plunge covered in some used coffee grounds, can detect some dried fruits, but difficult to pick out exactly what.
The taste and feel has an almost oily viscosity which is dense and rich, far more so than most whiskies. The flavor is certainly sweet, with that salted caramel hitting first, before being drowned out by a peaty camp fire that has some metallic undertones; which envelopes your senses leading you to want another hearty swig
