Nose: Light smokiness which is a bit unexpected with just the small batch. Pallet: Slight tingle on the tongue with young notes and a hit of char. Finish: At first it’s null but then just a little heat and sourness on your tongue. This was a fresh bottle and maybe a little air will mellow the spice and bring out the sweetness. Smooth and sweet this not but if your looking something with a Smokey edge then this will work. I find the first pours our the least enjoyable so I’ll try this again after some time but at close to $74 I’d need to raise the bar.
