Nose: peat and smoke, iodine, and maybe a hint of salt. It's like you're barbecuing a brisket, only you've run out of charcoal and have had to start burning old tyres.
Palate: smoke and peat. Like licking a brand new Wellington boot after it's walked through a marsh.
Finish: long and spicy, either chilli or black pepper. Oh, and smoke and peat.
