Vanilla, oak, brown sugar and Carmel.
My summary is just get a bottle of knob creek 9 yr single barrel special reserve. It’s amazingly better. This is a good pour but the draw is mostly the packaging which is gorgeous btw. It’s a blend of some rye and other age stated whiskies. For what these cost i would definitely just go for the KC 9s.

Just finally cracked open chapter 3 and felt the same. That one is very similar to to the KC SiB and probably indistinguishable from some of the better barrel picks. Good, but doesn’t justify the price or scarcity.
